garmont. What is the path from the road to Kranjska planina in terms of traceability, I assume it's a hunting or shepherd path?

Once you cross the road and behind the big stone find yourself on the footbridge, the path to the mountain pasture is nicely followable. To the junction with the marked path that comes from Vršič, it's harder to reach. My advice is that on the mountain pasture you keep to the right and upwards. Sooner or later you'll come across the markings.

I didn't see too much water. There is some down at the lower station of the cable car for Pogačnikov dom. Further up it's very scarce. Water flows higher up before Spodnje Kriško jezero along the trail at one place on the right side into the bed at about 1875m. And on LocusMaps and on Berfex it is marked as drinking water. In Pogačnikov dom there is drinking water from the lake.

Also the two of us with the better half today on Razor. It has been waiting a long time to come on turn, but today we caught a perfect day. Starting point Zadnjica. Very nice: - To Pogačnik's home we did probably the easiest 1,400 vertical meters we can remember. In the morning the path is in shade. This comfortable and knee-friendly mule track is just as much an advantage on the descent. Although in the last half hour of descent we already had very wooden legs ... - 2 springs of water to the hut; crazy views in the upper part; 2 beautiful high-mountain lakes along the way. - It seems to me that the energy saved from the first half of the tour allows achieving better statistics for the whole tour than usual. On paper the tour is very long, but this mule track really makes the difference. - "Lojtra" stands out as a real via ferrata and is really a demanding detail. SVK is recommended, just like on any normal via ferrata. I didn't have it, but I don't know if I can be right. - Besides the "lojtra" the addition of the western summit of Razor brings the most excitement, which is more for lovers of off-trail. Also the addition of Planja. Personally that climbing detail on Planja was more to my liking than anything up to the summit of Razor. - Beer in Pogačnik's home is chilled. - The protections that maybe seem superfluous on the ascent come in very handy on the descent. I was glad they are there where they are. A bit less nice: - The second half of the path from the hut to the summit of Razor is simply not nice. Just rubble... - Food in Pogačnik's home is below any criticism. Prices don't bother me (jota 13 €, beer 6 €), because prices simply depend on the location and also somehow keep pace with the times. But for that money I want jota, not diluted soup from washed cabbage. I don't recommend it! Somehow it seems to me that the higher the hut, the worse the food.
