On Wednesday (16.11) Miro, Matjaž and I decided to tackle Mrzla gora via Hudi prask. We started in Logarska dolina and headed to Okrešelj. There we turned right into the forest and off-trail to the access to Hudi prask. Helmets on and into the gully, which is crumbly but nicely climbable, with a chimney in between that adds to the climbing pleasure. Locally exposed, locally scree and rubble awaits, and so nicely to the eastern ridge. There we descend into the Latvica cirque, which is smart to cross with full winter gear, and then along the marked climbing path to the top. At the top complete calm and nicely warm with great views to Austria and the north faces of KSA. Descent in the direction of Mrzli dol along the marked climbing path.... nice tour, where caution is needed as it's locally quite exposed and not overly protected, which only increases the pleasure and sweetens the well-deserved beer in the valley.
