This herd in Kamniks was lying across the path (seen on first pic). With my son we approached to ca 5m, waved, clapped and shouted but they just watched us and chewed. Then we climbed the bypass, down the slope the lady finally stood up (pic 2). Those three small ones were more shy (zoom to end), unlike the old buck which I spotted in the last moment and he totally scared himself.

Sometimes a curious one joins and walks parallel on its paths. Chamois are shyer, ibex are kings! Take the kids in spring over Sovatna to Kriske meadows, you'll see something! LP
