Personally I'm also kayaker, know all Slovenian
rivers except Reka, flooded marshes in Notranjska
are special charm, most ex YU rivers, Carpathians, was
just about to buy Prijon sea single seater,
but alas.....Then age comes, pension, now mainly
Savinja with tributaries!!!!!

Jany, I think that's an urban legend, in my
youth they talked about a tunnel from Prebold to the castle
on Burkeljčev hrib, I was in those barely visible ruins' tunnels
many times and saw only
bayonet stuck in a rock crack, the elders teased us that it's the sword handle, we believed

In my youth, meadows reached the ridge,
from Počivalnik that main rocky formation was visible like some artificial structure and we said that it was
some bunker!! 100m from Potočnik there was
a hay drying rack high above the road under the summit, sadly abandoned
for a couple of decades, they mowed with the help of home-made
crampons or ice axes!!
Old Potočnik was a legend with a Tomos motorbike,
when there weren't many cars yet!!
Recently I was up there, sadly it's too overgrown
for paraglider takeoff LP

Regarding Potoški hrib, I believe you. Just how do the trees hold on in that steepness? The flat rock layers on the top or ridge are very interesting!!!
In the gully below, I found a couple of crayfish last year,
which are almost gone from our streams, sadly!!!!

Like with you, almost everything is covered, including that meadow above Miklavška church, one or two spots
still waiting for calm summer thermals, from Mrzlica
to Čemšenika I have about a dozen spots for
flying, otherwise I've also hiked most of
these hills, often first driving pitons, now
there climbers oh and ah, e.g. Kamnik!!!!!
