Well, I'll write myself how it was the path is demanding especially in the afternoon, when the snow is already well soaked! I got to Okrešelj just with poles and good boots. But that doesn't mean others don't need gear, bring it along, conditions change from hour to hour. Most demanding/dangerous just before getting above the waterfall, last ascent on wooden steps dangerous because wall crumbling and rocks of various sizes falling on path (helmet MANDATORY). Then further slip risk, walking on scree...

Last year I was there on this day, conditions were completely different, the shaft was fully formed, my layman's estimate 15 m circumference and 7-8 m depth! Now I doubt a bit looking at your picture that the shaft is already formed! But I'll go check anyway, because in this valley it's always nice, no crowds! Thanks for the pic!

Road to Krma is drivable!
From there on, everything depends on your experience in such changing conditions!
And on equipment of course; without snowshoes in current conditions you won't reach the goal! Crampons are mandatory winter gear anyway, whether you need them or not, and don't forget the ice axe!
PS: Mala Mojstrovka and Slemenova Špica at this time of year and in current conditions are not reachable without crampons and ice axe!

Nice greeting and many nice moments in the mountains

Today I went with my better half towards Okrešelj! Road is plowed only to the junction! But we turned back at the waterfall because too much snow and higher up we could nicely hear the rumbling of avalanches, otherwise it was very nice!
From there onwards better in a few days when the snow settles a bit!

I was there this weekend, you can drive right to Podvežak with good winter tires!
But don't go without skis, because it sinks terribly, I burned so much energy to Korošica that I postponed the ascent to Ojstrica for later!

Another variant: you can also drive via Črnivec pass from Kamnik, when you get to the valley turn left for Ljubno ob Savinji then through Ljubno the road leads to Smrekovec!
Road is a bit more twisty, but you'll avoid toll payment on AC!

Whoever "GORGES" until early morning hours should stay in the valley where there are suitable bars for that and leave us mountain peace lovers alone! And so no one thinks I'm some pensioner annoyed by youth, I'm 28 years old!

In my opinion mountain stations should offer only the most necessary, not organize some weird parties like chestnut picnics and the like! And keepers should also be experts on conditions and local terrain, like the keepers at Komna and Triglav Lakes!
And also, as those before me already wrote, MORE control, because if no action is taken, huts will soon become night clubs or pubs!
