For the first ascent I suggest starting from Krma to Planika and from there via Mali Triglav to the top. This path is the easiest also for descent. From Planika onwards there are pegs and cables, but it is nicer than from Kredarica and slightly less worn rock

I think if everyone just said their own opinion the forum would be much more readable, clearer, with a bit of personal etiquette probably more users would decide to comment or join conversations.

Also derogatory to call someone slovencelj just because the hut and its shortcomings are not first for him, but the mountain world he's entering????
Isn't that already a reflection of the commenter himself?

Surely not everything is tip-top in huts and not only at Kredarica, but comfort from the valley somehow can't be expected?

Still, the attitude of the hikers themselves is first! Probably the WC doesn't get dirty by itself, probably they don't have extra employees to guard in front of the WC when someone doesn't feel like or maybe can't for some reason pee exactly and then clean up after himself?? Regarding this there's a big problem at Kredarica especially in season.

Staničeva hut is not that far away but due to fewer visitors and the culture of hikers who are mostly there it's much nicer at least from my view.

But currently the hut itself is closed or not regularly supplied except for meteorologists. And they probably aren't to blame for the state of the hut or its visitors?

Politics I think somehow doesn't fit this forum or all comparisons what, how, who, why...

To a large extent the condition as it is in huts, in this case at Kredarica, is down to the hiker, mountaineer who goes in there.
Biggest problem is lots of people just ignore etiquette or culture and leave a mess behind. You know the saying only a pig leaves whatever falls from its ass?

So without some inspection it should be high hygiene level, but unfortunately more and more individuals who don't give a damn what state they leave the place in.

So don't blame the keepers, for well-being and hygiene we're largely (not) responsible ourselves.
