In such a bivouac probably no one will sleep. Maybe that's why it's locked. And dedicated to itself (and the creators).

Does anyone know why they're carrying snow into the bivouac onto the bunks? Maybe storing it for times when the bivouac is open (maybe in summer?), so water can be made from the snow? Or maybe the bivouac "leaks", even though it's locked and snowed shut?

Can one already (finally) overnight in the bivouac? It's already the fourth month since the day they announced the official opening of the bivouac, which obviously stands and looks (at least from outside) finished and is still left to itself?

IgorZlodej or whoever from that end - is the new bivouac on Kanin still locked and unusable? PZS knows nothing, in Bovec nobody knows anything... Didn't they announce the opening already in summer? Has someone on this portal maybe already tested it?

The bivouac was locked a few days ago, the hut of course closed. Why build a bivouac if it's always locked? Who is it even for? Is it really just a winter room as written in the PZS press release and will there be a charge for the overnight stay or will the bivouac be closed all months except winter?

@lino I'm not pessimistic at all, I'm following everything from a distance, but probably you missed the start of this post, where expert Mr. Igor Zlodej writes about completely unsuitable location and that they don't even know how the bivouac ended up there in the end, as nobody needs it there. And exactly PZS had nothing to do with it, as it is not the project initiator, as the post also writes. So once again the question, if maybe someone knows - is it possible to overnight in the new bivouac on Kanin or is it closed to the public?

That someone would go to this wind-exposed bivouac for emergency exit is hard to believe. Ski slopes, gondola stations, inns and all that goes with them are just a stone's throw away, location terribly unfortunate. Same as the hut that stands empty - empty. For any "bivouacking" it's still useful to know if the newly built bivouac is just a monument to the builders or if one can also sleep in it? Whether "necessary" or a bit less necessary...

New bivouac on Kanin with funny shapes, as it appears, is standing. Maybe someone knows if it's possible to sleep in it already?

Is it very loose, crumbly?

Maybe it will be generally known only when helicopters are already buzzing and architects have meanwhile built a new monument. At the administrative unit or municipality they probably know... Otherwise bivouacs in Bovec area are obviously very needed, otherwise PZS wouldn't give consents? Is the one on Kanin already renovated and in use? Why wasn't it placed lower according to original proposals - as written on GL?

On GL I read that there's a new bivouac on Kanin and the location is unfortunate but convenient because it's outside TNP. http://www.gore-ljudje.net/novosti/128137/ More shocking was the info that they plan another on Rombon! Is it true that another new bivouac will be placed somewhere on wild Rombon??
