How and where do you attach the ice axe with the elastic strap and carabiner when using it for safety on steep snowy slopes? Around the wrist or to the climbing harness?

I'd ask experts for opinion regarding self-protection kits, also those in kit with harness and helmet. Prices are around there, so I'd prefer reliability and quality. Anyway the Camp kit is pricewise OK for me, which is on 25% discount. Thanks for help.

Well, maybe better to write towards Grintavec, not to Grintavec... Nice trekking from home to the avalanche part under Cojzova koča. Would've gone further, but fog and late hour stopped me. Spent some precious time in lower part, forest, looking for markers... Repeat soon
