Osprey Talon 22, Deuter Speed Lite 24.. Look what fits your back better, then compare details and what suits you more, Osprey has e.g. stow on the go, Deuter straps clip together etc.. just look what you need and that's it. No need to make rocket science nasmeh

I have no complaints about what I have from Salewa. Backpack is Deuter, before had Osprey but the back didn't suit me so I changed.
Generally when buying gear I check the company's environmental policy and worker relations (aka bluesign and fair trade), what warranty etc. Then browse reviews for the product I'm interested in...

I got Marmot Arch Rock last year in Annapurna for 40€ (50% off). Wait a bit for specialized stores (Iglu, Kibuba, Annapurna), you can get some last piece much cheaper, of course if they have your size.

If I remember correctly, a week ago I saw Columbia Triple Canyon hiking pants in Intersport outlet, based on the description they would suit you as they have narrower cut and very stretchy. I have this model of shorts and they are super.

I use salewa for day hikes (otherwise very satisfied with the boot, maybe recommend without membrane because after a few months it's unusable) or if carrying heavier load Alpina Ladakh. For winter I don't have, or rather I'd use Alpina Tibet, but I'm missing other gear and experience nasmeh

Hello, I have Alpina Tibet and Ladakh classic boots, and I'm interested how they perform with classic crampons on winter ascents of Slovenian two-thousanders? Is this an ok combination, or is it necessary to buy winter mountaineering boots?
Thanks for the answer!

Hi! Is there some handy booklet with pictures and descriptions of alpine flowers, suitable to take on hikes?

We didn't go to Pogačnikov dom, but we met hikers coming from there to Stenar, Bovški Gamsovec etc. without winter gear, so I assume the path is passable...

I have Alpina Ladakh and I'm extremely satisfied. Only maybe missing protective rubber but after a few high mountain tours they are still almost like new. I polish and grease them after every walk though...

This weekend with buddy we went from Škrlatica to Dolkova špica without problem, no snow, then continued to Križ (where there's still some snow but can avoid it) and then to bivak IV.

Yeah not everything is the same cuz with these mad rock I have trouble with more precise steps. Yeah I'm a beginner, been climbing half a year, on boulders up to 6c so far

Hi, I'm buying a second pair of climbing shoes, because the first Mad Rock Drifter no longer performs as it should. Currently choosing between
Scarpa vapor V, tenaya oasi
tenaya ra, so I'm interested in your advice. nasmeh
I climb mainly indoors on boulders and occasionally outside on rope.

This year I got Alpina Ladakh classic for visiting our mountains, now due to online circumstances I got new Alpina Tibet and I'm interested what combination of use you recommend, like one pair just for mountains the other for everyday use and jumping around terrain... Ladakh seem more massive and sturdier and more suitable for mountains... Any advice?

Hi, I'm buying a hiking backpack for longer trips and I'm interested if anyone has experience with McKinley brand, specifically this backpack.

Mainly I'd like opinions on quality and experiences from satisfied or unsatisfied users of that brand. smile

Thanks,

best regards!

A few days ago I went shopping and with the seller's help chose the following gear: helmet, harness and via ferrata set. With discounts the whole thing cost 147€.
Today I tested the gear on the protected path Lisca, which is short but demanding.
