Lijaneja, thanks for the opinion. Maybe someone else?

I've been using a 20-liter Osprey with mesh back excellently for several years. It's very light, so I use it for hikes in all seasons except winter. It's impossible not to sweat on your back, no matter what backpack. But it's more breathable and significantly lighter than the Mammut one I use for climbing and all winter activities.
After all this time using the Osprey, the most annoying thing is that it has no lid. It's a habit to stuff everything I don't need during the activity into the inner pocket and the outer one for stuff I need at hand.

Thanks Palček plezalček for your opinion. Yeah, the back is really under attack when it comes to sweating. But I'm buying more for winter, to stuff in a bit more clothes, crampons.... Lid mandatory for small stuff, so no need to open the backpack. It's good to ask others for opinions, since we don't buy a backpack for one season, and in the store it's hard to judge just by trying it on.

I have Osprey Exos 48. To me it seems quite light for the volume and has some useful details. Regarding the mesh, hard to say anything decisive. I agree with the previous ones that at faster pace you sweat anyway. At slower walking, it seems I start sweating a bit later than with a backpack without mesh. Maybe it says something that I also bought a smaller one from Quechue but also with mesh.

Rensul, I don't know if you use the backpack for hiking or also climbing. For some time I've been thinking about replacing my climbing backpack and tried Deuter Guide. Although not climbing-specific, this one seems much better and also significantly lighter: https://www.deuter.com/si-en/shop/backpacks/p24214-hiking-backpack-speed-lite-32. But true, the front pocket for maps or similar bothers me - unnecessary 'appendage' that probably stretches over time.

The only thing that bothers me about the mesh is the accumulation of "dirt" on the inner side at the bottom where the mesh is attached to the backpack itself. The hikes I often do go through scrub, bushes, overgrown terrain basically, and needles and twigs and more fall behind the back while pushing through the thicket and collect on the inner side of that mesh. It's a whole project to shake it out at home and clean it completely. At the bottom, on the inner edge, sometimes so much filth that I remove the dried crap with an old toothbrush under the shower. Same problem with Osprey and VauDe backpack. No joke.

Thanks Janez52, palček plezalček and turbo. At hard pace probably even the best back system doesn't help much, but difference surely at slow walking, when you have to adjust pace to the better halfnasmeh, take some pics in between... I'll need the backpack for winter adventures like Kredarica, Mojstrovka, Stol, maybe Triglav sometime and similar, not hard climbing. Didn't even think that dirt can accumulate behind the mesh.

I've been using this for half a year now https://www.kibuba.com/nahrbtniki-c1866/nahrbtniki-do-30l/pohodniski-c2095/zenski-nahrbtnik-salewa-alp-trainer-30-3 and it's top. It's light, no regular back panel nor mesh, but something in between, made for women, so nice color too, my favorite nasmeh Might read like paid ad, but no, this backpack really works for me, when wearing it you hardly know you have it on. Before I used Black Diamond Speed, which was OK too, but no outer pockets at all, which bothered me a lot. This Salewa has quite a few, even a small one on the waistbelt that can be removed if annoying, and the bottom part is separate, so I have PP there, some down jacket, gloves, stuff that's right at hand if needed. I think you can't go wrong with this one mežikanje I'm more than satisfied with it, or rather can only use superlatives.

Rensul, I have a Deuter Futura 26. The main plus is that it's really insanely comfortable. You still sweat on the back, but less. It's my first choice for light hikes.

I don't use it for climbing because it's quite wide. And it's awkward to climb with a backpack that's away from the back.

Ppegan, I definitely like that they have side pockets of stretchy mesh, and there must also be one on the waistbelt, because now the phone with which I take photos, I carry in pants pockets and it's more practical if it's on the waistbelt. They have in Kibuba men's only up to 30l and I don't know if it'll be big enough.
N3jc, so there is something to it that you sweat a bit less. Super that you're satisfied, for whatever climbing I won't need it either, otherwise I'd take one with as little bulk as possiblenasmeh

The difference between mesh and non-mesh is mainly if you use it also in winter. Because if you put the backpack on snow (or fall while skiing) and snow gets between mesh and back - you won't clean it easily. I had exactly the same dilemma a few weeks ago (especially since wife swears by mesh, all my backpacks so far without) - tried both. The one with mesh (GREGORY Zulu 35) really fit the back panel like poured, without mesh I tried GREGORY Stout 35. Honestly, with Stout I had to fiddle more to set it properly (has adjustable back, men's backpack - differently shaped shoulder straps ...). Decided for Stout and tested it a good week ago from Matizovec to Kofce (loaded about 15kg stuff inside). When set properly, you carry it with hips and it nicely distances from back, so when we arrived up I was almost not sweaty on the back, nothing on shoulders either. Has space for 3l bladder, two mesh side pockets, front pocket for quick stuff, rain cover, top outer and inner pocket, very thoughtful closing system - with one hand even with gloves on, loop and strap for thumbs/ice axe, pockets on waist belts. And can open from bottom too. If you like to carry extra mat for wife to sit warm and soft, has straps below. Bought it at https://firstcornershop.com/sl/izdelek/gregory-stout-35-nahrbtnik/ ... they have big selection. They have at the end of February an action where 15% from each sold backpack goes to Slovenian mountain guides association.
You can contact me, I'll tell you more. Backpack excellently presented on video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSNvGqQhMY4&feature=emb_logo

Tpetauer thanks for the explanations. I especially like the large pockets on the waist belt, the back panel is similar to Osprey Kestrel. Definitely, it would be best to try and decide. Is there a store in IC Šenčur.

Does anyone maybe have an idea what to lubricate the zippers on the backpack with so they open easier.

For me currently the problem is that on the side pockets they open harder because I sweat a lot there. Just now I washed them with hot water and it's temporarily fixed, but I think they need to be lubricated with something.

Somewhere I heard that it's done with wax, but I've already tried that without much success.

Hard soap (žajfa). I have in memory "oral tradition", here is also "in black and white":

Does anyone have experience with Deuter AC Lite line where the zipper is placed in front along the entire backpack length? How does it perform, somewhere I read that you need to be more careful when opening the zipper. Choosing between these two backpacks as a gift:
https://vitaproshop.com/izdelek/deuter-pohodni-nahrbtnik-ac-lite-15-sl-2
and

The last one can also be used for hiking in my opinion. It also has distance mesh across the entire back panel which is important to me when buying.
Both of course asking for summer months few-hour hikes. Any other suggestion welcome. Thanks.

Absolutely too expensive.
If you're from Lj., go check Thule store on Celovška. Some backpacks are discounted 50%.
They are for various purposes (hiking, running, cycling, ski touring).
