mirank: yeah I'd take the green or black one (men's yeah 36L) Price is the same for me, cuz I get discount everywhere to 135€ But I'm looking at this model: Osprey Backpack Kyte 36 https://www.factorystore.si/osprey-nahrbtnik-kyte-36# however it's a bit more expensive, and I like it better than Deuter...

Just go to the store once and buy this backpack no other will suit you like this one, so don't complicate!!!

At my place you can get a practically new Camp brand backpack, 50 liters capacity, for a good price. Very useful thing.

Hi, I'm buying a hiking backpack for longer trips and I'm interested if anyone has experience with McKinley brand, specifically this backpack. Mainly I'd like opinions on quality and experiences from satisfied or unsatisfied users of that brand. Thanks, best regards!

I have 2 hiking backpacks from McKinley and I'm very satisfied with both. Not this model, but two others and both perform excellently. I use them for other purposes too, not just hiking.

I'm buying a new somewhat better hiking/sports backpack and don't know what to choose. I have a gift voucher for the online store https://www.factorystore.si/outdoor/nahrbtniki-torbe and probably I'll get it there. So far I've always taken some basic backpacks with me. Does anyone have advice, what capacity (1 to occasionally 2 people). Take backpack with bladder or without, padding or back panel? Price is not my primary concern, since you buy it once and then it "works" I hope at least . I'd use it mainly for hiking and sometimes cycling, and some tourist adventures.

Osprey is a good brand (sorry for the ad). Choose a "hydration" one up to max 30 liters.

hi, I'm about to buy a new backpack but I'm torn between Deuter or McKinley. Does Deuter outweigh in quality vs price? Please if any owner of those can write more. Choosing around 50l or more. Since both have many types, I can't distinguish differences and choose. Thanks for all info.

Don't know McKinley, have two Deuters, one larger (about 6-7 years) and smaller for short trips (about 3-4 years). Before them I had backpacks where something was always wrong, they tore, broke, zippers failed,... With Deuter, no, but really no problems. Especially the small one I sometimes stuff things in, force the zipper closed - doesn't tear, zipper doesn't break! They are expensive yeah, but you know what the English say: We are not rich enough to buy cheap!

I have McKinley because it's light. It lasts at least five years, then the fabric starts tearing. More expensive backpacks are made of better materials and significantly heavier.

Hi! I'm buying a women's hiking backpack, which will mostly serve for day trips and at most two-day trips (mainly in the summer part of the year). Mandatory system for attaching poles and helmet. Can someone advise what volume I should take and any recommendation if someone is very satisfied with their backpack?

At my home, if you looked, you'd find more than ten backpacks, from running ones I got with entry fees, but those are quite poor and I don't use them, gave some away. Then hiking ones start from 8 liters. I have seven, the largest comes on my shoulders once a year, it has some laundry in it. Rain protection, tent, mat, inflatable pillow, sleeping bag. Then food and drink at least for one day, chair, towel-umbrella and more I could list. Full, it weighs 15 kg. With such weight we walked from Nordkapp to Bjelovar (Croatia). 7700 km. Plan is southernmost point of Europe. Romana is a bit lighter 11-12 kg. What's for her, same weight as mine. Others I choose by need, always larger than needed, don't like "bulging" and barely closing, all have plenty side pockets, nets for drinks, inside for bottle. ETC. (Brand Deuter) Best. J.

Hi all. Maybe someone can help with easier decision. Interested if anyone has experience carrying backpacks with mesh back (Deuter Futura pro 36, Osprey Stratos 36 Lowe Alpine Airzone Trek 35-45...) and regular backrest. Mainly interested in center of gravity and if it's really more breathable. Otherwise in summer I use cycling Deuter One with Air Stripes backrest, but back gets wet immediately. In winter with more gear I have some Kaikkialla (bought years ago in Iglu), but seems a bit small, has foam and slightly concave backrest and airflow is better than the previous one. Thanks for all explanations and best.

If you walk or run fast with it, it blows behind your neck with every step At a slightly faster pace everyone sweats - what good is the mesh then - between backpack and back there's draft, which is very uncomfortable in cooler weather. This mesh is for me one of the dumbest mountain fashion inventions.
