From winter idyll at Sviščaki, to frost and gale-force wind on Snežnik. But still very nice After long time view from Snežnik and blue sky and of course first winter joys Road to Sviščaki after 8h normally drivable (of course with winter tires), to Snežnik through forest.

From Sviscaki through forest to Veliki Snežnik and back by road to start, all bp. Coffee super, views too

Yes, unfortunately ..

From Kredarica to Triglav and of course back we had crampons on all the time ..

We were on Sunday from Kredarica direction, winter gear is mandatory. Good luck!

Start from Vrata, over Sovatna, first to Stenar, then to Križ past bivak IV back to start. Some snow patches on the path, no winter gear needed, otherwise path without special features. Nice, cold and windy Saturday.

We two went on Sunday. Up past the hut in Krnica, path completely dry; down through Kačji graben, snow there. No gear needed, not icy and nice descent. Otherwise ice axe and crampons yes, needed when it freezes. But now not whole scree under snow, lower no snow.

I had it on me the whole time, at moments (especially at the start) it was in the way .. higher on some parts I clipped in, then not again .. depends .. otherwise you can stay clipped in the whole time yes ..
