Incredible how us little Slovenians are frustratedzmeden Anyway urbanček mentioned walking time besides everything else and so what? Some can go faster, others can't. Don't know why such reactions, since with his post he didn't "attack" anyone. Don't know why so much irritation in some. Personally discussions about who is faster on some path and then arguing about minutes etc bother me. But not at all the fact that someone states walking time. Let's relax a bit and not attack posts right away that directly don't concern any individual.

Lots of pleasures in mountains and best,

roger

atoamac: I went to google Pipar's height even before posting and saw it's 2069 meters, which didn't match your mathvelik nasmeh. I thought maybe the data was inaccurate, so I still gave that answer. Given that there was talk of pipi or "fajfi" and that rovka wrote we're looking for a gentleman, I assumed it's this peaknasmeh.

Hello! I'm planning a trip to Krn from Lepena on Saturday, and I'm interested in the path condition (snowfields). In the path description it says that early in summer especially towards Krnska škrbina snowfields can be present. Thanks and regards.

I'm also interested if anyone knows how the ascent to Riffelhorn is (that's the peak in direct proximity to Riffelsee). From the top a splendid view opens on the Matterhorn ridge, according to the data I got, but no path leads to it that would be suitable also for families. I'm mainly interested in the technical side of the path, from where it is best to start the ascent....

Since I'm planning to wander around Zermatt next week, please, if someone from their own experience can describe in detail the most scenic and if possible shortest path to that village. Also asking for advice on excursions around Matterhorn (I lack much experience for climbing it), what is worth seeing etc. Thanks in advance for answers.
