On Sunday, 7.12, from Topla via Kneps to the Austrian and our summit and past the hut to the valley. There's quite some snow towards and on the summit and it sinks in places up to the knees, so it goes pretty hard in the "mire"

Don't forget this peak . Saturday by bike starting from Bistrica in Rož (Feistritz im Rosental). Nice gravel road drags on to Celovska Hut. Then quick hop to Ovčji vrh . Company, weather and ambience top-notch .

Conditions update - 7.6.2025. One of my favorite trails where you can combine cycling and hiking .

Yesterday to Ladinger Spitz on skis. Weather gorgeous, almost hot, just the snow wasn't the best or there was too little of it.

Greetings also from the other side, where we were also on Sunday. This time only to Bistriška špica and back.

History repeats itself , on Saturday, 4.11.2023, from below the cable car to Bistriška špica, then along the ridge to Kordeževa glava and return via the ski slope back.

Conditions, hmm, autumn -> winter -> autumn. At the top someone forgot open windows and doors and it was blowing like in ......

No big deal, there's beer on the mountain though .

Buddy was our 9-year-old who has been grinding his knees for several years and the mentioned hill is no big problem for him.

Otherwise, this path is really top for a quick leg stretch.

Hey,

a couple of fresh pieces of info from today. As already written, some markings are visible at night too, as they are set as signs, and there are some marks on trees too, so keep your eyes peeled .

Regarding the path itself, the first part through the forest is trodden and slippery in places.

After exiting the forest, the path is covered in snow, partly frozen, with breakthroughs in places or deeper holes, so be careful.

Towards the saddle today it wasn't trodden, so we waded through all sorts of snow (frozen, drifted, sinking to the knees or deeper in places).

In short, crampons, maybe an ice axe too, and careful. And don't forget a spare light if setting off at night.
