just came back from triglav, but from little triglav, because at 6:15 am it was impossible to reach the top. almost no snow, but everything icy, including the cables. at sunrise I turned back to the valley. as far as I know, with the first sun rays the ice and snow almost all melted.

I've been going to Javornik from the Col direction for some years. The path is easy, nice; this year it'll be snowy, no crowds, and in the afternoon the hut is also open to drink tea.

crampons are not necessary, but recommended, especially near the hut where there is too little new snow on the frozen base. Tomorrow there will be crowds on this path, so I'll go to Golak by MTB to annoy hikers

today at Abram like this. some trudging through 20 cm wet snow too.

At 8 in valley 0 degrees, at 9 before hut plus five, calm, now at 10 also plus five in valley. View towards Golaki shows (clouds-flag) that it's pretty rough up there, Čaven though is bathed in sun. Before hut still enough snow to get crampons on.
