I've driven countless times up the hill from Sodražica direction via Podklanec to Bloke and finally today I took time to check out Kadica Gorge. Start at the rest area on the left side of the road from Podklanec direction, descent to the stream, across the water on stones and left downhill on a less visible trail covered in snow. The path is marked (I think it's part of Sodražica hiking trail), currently snowy, wet and very slippery. There's also a visible turnoff over a wooden bridge, but today couldn't explore that way due to snow and icy terrain. Joy over discovering a hidden gem got a bitter aftertaste when I found discarded cans, bottles, car tires and even meat scraps in plastic bags... human stupidity and carelessness are truly boundless... As much as I could, I picked them up and tossed them in the small container at the rest area. What does the "person" have in their head who throws trash over the road fence when there's a container 3m away?!

Nežica was a girl from the Kostel fairy tale, recorded by J. Žagar. Once she brought a pair of oxen to the stream flowing into the Kolpa to water them. The stream suddenly sank and pulled all three into the ground. Only after the next heavy downpour did the water bring to the surface a yoke wrapped in Nežica's light hair.
The path to the Nežica spring is short, not strenuous, today quite muddy and slippery in some places. The little bridge near the spring is in very poor condition, becoming dangerous. But currently Nežica is very watery and therefore so much nicer to view.

This was an ultra hike, congratulations!

I was there yesterday and walking not pleasant at all. Snow patches in a few places, walked in predecessor's footsteps ... snow wet, mushy and my boots despite impregnation completely "rotten"... Can't use crampons because snow occasional, gaiters would be good...Lower part of path muddy, so no enjoyment in walking

Stone mushroom under Krn or under the village Krn?

Of course it's blooming, if the morning frost this week didn't shrivel them too much... I admired them this week on Tuesday.

This wonderful path I'd like to repeat - can someone tell me if there are perhaps any obstacles due to fallen trees?

This is a very friendly mountain hut and I hope you'll somehow agree. Grobničke Alpe are reachable for us from southern Slovenia and I recommend a visit.

I don't know how the route of Bračičeva trail goes but years ago I did Haloze mountain trail and slept at tourist farm Korpič in Dravci. If it "fits" into your planned trail I warmly recommend.

I know the path from Moščenička Draga to Perun and it's wonderful, worth a visit! This idea of a loop from M.Draga over Vojak to Medveja is really interesting ... I'll be glad for more descriptions if possible...
