In these days PD Celje celebrates 100th anniversary of this pleasant mountain hut!
CONGRATULATIONS to the society and all who contributed to it!
This hut, beauties of the mountains surrounding it and their peaks, have become part of how I spend my free time in recent years.
The views from in front of the hut remain in unforgettable memory.
Every mountaineer is happy when, after a strenuous tour, a pleasant shelter awaits him.
The hut represented exactly that for me in the past years..pleasant shelter..friendly staff is also a big stone in the mosaic of everything!!

Pity that this part is somewhat distant for me and I'd go more often to Krn Lake and of course the peak. I have visited it twice so far and always brought nice memories home of the lake and of course the Krn peak with an unforgettable view

The road does drag, yes, and at junctions you need some caution not to stray... but the trail from parking is easy, as I wrote. If you go alone, you're at the hut in half an hour

I gladly described the path to the hut a bit.
On the way up to the summit we split into two groups. Some on the normal path, others into the wall. I think there's no doubt which one I took...

Since I'm mentioning our family outing, I'm also adding pictures from the trail to the summit

I have hiked it.
The trail is easy, suitable also for small children.
It takes approx 50 minutes. Elevation gain is around 350 m.
Suitable for a nice family outing!

The old ones gave me quite some adrenaline when I did this tour in reverse.
The path over Kotliče is phenomenal, unforgettable!
At Okrešelj all food is excellent, especially the vamps were good!!
Full praise and thanks to Jure, Bele, Rok, Mirjam and others for the unforgettable week I spent at Okrešelj!
