Can anyone tell me something about the so-called Mihelić Path direction Pihavec-Luknja, I'm mainly interested in the descent difficulty and where the memorial plaque is.

Yesterday I set off late at 8 am to Jerebica. The path itself is in good condition but requires quite some fitness. On the way back I noticed that some hikers turned back before the summit. The sun also did its bit, burning hot. Super weather, few people.

Today, 9.7, I went up the ridge path to the summit and down the south -SLO- back. On the path all OK. Snow only remnants, super weather, no people.

On Wednesday my friend and I set off for Pihavec via Luknja and past the memorial plaque of the great Julian Alps expert Tinet Mihelič. Although first time in this direction the path itself except entry to chimney is not difficult. Met lots of ibex and their playful young jumping around the steep slopes with incredible ease.
Path from summit through gully exemplarily secured - watch falling rocks. At Kriški podi in the hut you feel they close on Sunday.
Continued to Stenar and descended via Stenar notch, below on scree ran into exhausted foreigners, hope they made it to hut before night.
Nice sunny day in mountains and few hikers.

Blato-Vodnikova hut walked a few days ago via planina Krstenica and spiced it with ridge path behind Krsteniški and over Jezerski Stog. Scenic varied path not marked but well traceable and easy, just chimney below summit J. Stog requires some care, from summit descent to saddle where marks direct you right to Vodnik. Path via pl. Laz has its charms but described path undoubtedly more scenic, more varied and quieter.

On 26 July went from Kot via climbing path to Rjavina, well secured but not for beginners. On the ridge some damaged protections but no problems, nice tour especially lots of peace unlike daddy Triglav.

Thanks Rok for the info, apparently you can also go bypassing the gully, which is a more suitable variant for descent.
