Went yesterday on this path from Vrata… really nice hike, no crowds i.e. solitude from Luknja all the way to Stenar…

19.10.2025 Pihavec 2417m (Tineta Miheliča path)
At parking lot morning +6C and such fog it was dripping. Path to Luknja and junction without any view. When turning right hit icy rock. All covered with thin ice layer and had to watch steps carefully. To Tinet M. memorial plaque without special orientation issues. Gully entrance visible from afar. Smooth rock crossing with auxiliary rope. Just grab rope and over in moment, first two struggled a bit without rope. Steep grass, some rock to marked path from Kriški podi (path officially closed!!!).
At summit nice views await. Short rest, eat, some photos and hurry down. Descent to Kriški podi snowy, snow frozen full of scree. At Stenar junction part of team to summit, part to valley to Aljaž. This descent needs caution on abundant scree. In fog rock wet and slippery.
