Yeah, that pace wasn't exactly touristy

Yes, the pictures are really fantastic. And what annoys me most is that I also did the same tour this year, just in the opposite direction, and there was fog, we saw nothing. Same places, but such a difference because of the weather. Hard to believe or come to terms with what views I missed.

But they'll wait.

Oh nice! With every step higher winter gets closer. Where was the 4th picture taken? And this white horse!! I can't help it. Were the princes around too? Such a sight in the middle of a mountain pasture reminds me only of that .

Bravo, super! It would really be great to see some pictures Too bad about the weather. This weekend quite a few of us got caught. I myself froze and admired the fog on Snežnik .

But I have one question. Are the larches already yellowing? (Under Snežnik the beeches are slowly starting to glow)

Planina Blato - Dolič 5.15h (Za Kopico)

Planina Blato - Prehodavci 5h (Za Kopico)

Prehodavci - Dolič is 2.30h

If going to Dvojno Lake first day without Dolič it's 7h. From pass Vrata, imho it's worth climbing to Zelnarica to see both valleys. Much more sensible than Dolič. I stress it's just my opinion and I haven't walked the path yet, but for myself I searched and combined various variants. This seemed overall easy and almost fully circular.

I have just one suggestion so you don't go up and down the Triglav Lakes valley.

1. Planina Blato - koča na Planini pri jezeru - Dedno polje - ZA KOPICO - Prehodavci - along the valley to Dvojno Lake and sleep

2. To Črno Lake - Planina Viševnik - koča na Planini pri jezeru - Planina Blato.

Haven't realized it yet, but it's in plan and seems a nice circular route.

Debela peč and Brda connected in a circular tour, starting point in Medvedova konta, would be a very nice trip. Checked these days, only dense fog prevented the view. The trip is nicely described in Tina Mihelič's book: Julijske Alpe Bohinjske gore. Otherwise, I recommend the book With children to the mountains, which has suitable trips and everything you need to know about safety, suitability etc. when going to the mountains with children.
