We haven't found many mushrooms this year either, but the nicest we stumbled upon like triglavski, on Pohorje and Smrekovec.

Has anyone been to Olševa recently? We plan to go this weekend, which path do you recommend? Conditions?

If you succeed, please report how it went... some advice would help us, as this year we're trying k24 for the first time.

Uh, from Raduha there might be a problem... Maybe via Durce a bit less. Not 100%. For the other parts I think they shouldn't be problematic. We plan to try late summer, we've reached some compromise between those for the longest day, but heat and storms are still not negligible.

I won't get into this argument, I'll just say how I solve this noise myself..
I find those goat paths that are least visited, where there's no chance of meeting a motorbiker, least polluted, most remote, MOST BEAUTIFUL.

if this is true, then you did it in record time... I think the record is held by Radovan Skubic Hilarij, who managed this trail in 11 days, maybe I'm wrong. well for such a feat you have to be a real ace

JTrogar, I also recognize only pics from Kopinškova to Ojstrica - I know it almost like my own pocket... don't know where pics e.g. from Planjava
Regarding the times you gave (mentioned tour summer - 6h, winter also in one day ), I think that's a very difficult time to achieve even for mountain runners; the exposure in many places is such that you can't really rush!
As I already said, I did this tour myself in summer, took more, ca. 12h in very good conditions and good fitness (from Ojstrica I descended to Korošica and back to Planjava).

rok86, this tour also seems a bit extreme to me for winter, I did it in summer, it took me around 12 hours!
But when I look at the pics you uploaded, I recognize only Kopinškova to Ojstrica (just for one pic I don't know where to place it), add some from Planjava, babe; this weekend I plan to visit Planjava

Yesterday (9.11.2008) there was 10 cm of snow on Grintovec summit. In the morning everything was white already at 2000 m, later the snow line rose quickly.

has any new snow fallen today? I'm mainly interested in conditions on the mentioned path to Rinka and the southern one to Skuta.
