In Carinthia only Cigančki (wheat fairy rings) and various doves came out of the ground, now drought again and what's left went whistling to crayfish. If no rain soon before September nothing, because next 10 days heat and all growth stops.

This is probably a smaller version, there are quite a few around Slovenia, I've seen them in front of houses and on some peaks.

That's trendy now.

Like the golden shrub, you probably mean the winter stump (Flammulina velutipes); I wouldn't fully agree, due to the rough nature of the cap. I think it's a well-washed pholiota (Pholiota), most likely alder pholiota or yellow pholiota. Pholiotas are quite unimportant for food, mainly due to toughness and bitterness.

I don't remember any year where there were so few mushrooms in the last days of August, although the last month here is far from drought.

Here in Carinthia nothing, at least where I was walking ...

Do you want to climb one of the cimes or see them from below? If you want to walk around or even do a circuit, just drive to Auronzo hut; ascent on them was at least years ago when I visited in the climbing domain.

Climbing routes are in the little tower just below the summit, called Šmohorca. (Picture below). The approach most likely meant by user Kamej is the gully by Šmohorca aka right gully. We start the ascent on the forest road crossing the former Ošven ski slope (winter toboggan run). We follow the road past the hunting hut and slowly on the right, quite obviously, the above-mentioned gully opens up. There is little real climbing in the gully itself, but in dry conditions it is a nice pathless approach that still requires a good dose of caution and knowledge of movement in that terrain. Higher up the gully narrows, crosses the hunting path and brings us by Šmohorca (which we can also climb) to the point between the tower and cross mentioned by Kamej. Regards
