Yesterday, 6.11.2010, we were on Dovška Baba and along the ridge path to Koprivnjak - little baba. Somewhere along the way we lost a black soft shell vest with car keys inside.

Really winter fairy tale, today lots of skiers, some ski tourers and some of us hikers. Path quite trodden, still gaiters welcome on the path past the weekend houses

Through your description and pictures I revive memories from six years ago when we wandered for 4 days on the most beautiful ledges of Brenta. Wonderful, I would repeat that tour

On Sunday there was still a closure sign down by the road.

Today nice and warm morning hike from Rogarjev Rovt towards Hruščanska Planina, where on the flat, where the view opens towards Golica and Stol ridge, the path is crossed by the "notorious" capercaillie. He puffed up a lot and followed us along the road almost to Hruščanska Planina. We continued towards Rožca and Klek and on the return he was waiting almost at the same spot and "intimidated" two more hikers. He stood in the middle of the road, didn't let us pass until we fended him off with poles.
Path otherwise without peculiarities, snow only on the border ridge and top of Klek and on short sections of the path through the forest above Jeseniška Planina towards Rožca. Some trees still down across the path, but can be bypassed.

Gita, as always, wonderful description with photo documentation I remember this path well, three years ago I walked it all the way to Žrd in the hottest day of that summer, but on the return I didn't go to Bela Peč but directly to Gilberti.

Škrtoc, I got this model new this winter and I'm very satisfied with them. Before I had only those 4-tooth ones for the middle part of the boot, which slipped off easily and couldn't be fixed tightly. So I can warmly recommend buying Mount track crampons. Regards
