Today after work into a snowy fairytale. Weather cleared up, path trampled, on top about 35cm snow and temperature -1 degree!

The hut is serviced on Saturdays and Sundays by friendly members of PD Postojna and they also have draught Laško, checked on Saturday.

Yesterday I decided to visit Gradiška Tour. I went up via Furlanovi; it was nice with nice, but not divine views over the beautiful Vipava Valley. The spring scenery is awakening. In a few days everything will be in bloom. I continued past the chapel and over Plaz back to Tura camp!

On Easter Monday, the traditional 22nd hike to Mali Gori took place. The weather was really summery and the hardworking organizers were delighted by a large number of participants. On Mali Gori it smelled of polenta and good company was plentiful. Then I went to the Hut on Čavnu and further over Kucelj to the chapel of St. Paul, where there was a mass, then to the starting point. Otherwise, the Čaven ridge will soon bloom in all its beauty.

Today on Snežnik, real crowd, windy towards the summit, otherwise wonderful sunny day. In the hut very friendly staff and good jota!

We too today on Nanos, nice day and real summer weather. Metod, regarding the caretaker I'd say that's everyday, not just a bad day! Otherwise wonderful day!

Today at Mali Golak. Morning start without gloves and hat, since yesterday it was spring in the valley. I walk, I walk but I don't warm up, put on gloves and hat and reached working temperature. Snow in the morning frozen, on top sunshine and wonderful views. Nice stroll, in the hut friendly service!!

Today I decide for Mali Golak again. On the path a few cm of fresh snow on quite some base, path trodden, cloudy weather and drizzling, and "pulling" at the start. When you reach the ridge the bora starts and towards the top it blows stronger and stronger, at the top over 100km/h, real Siberia. In the hut with friendly service we warm up and then back to the valley, interesting frost experience!!

Today on Mali Golak. Conditions very good, only on top windy and very cold. Gaz made!! Friendly service in hut!

On Sunday again a little hiking around Mali Gori. It was really pleasant and almost a bit cold. On Mali Gori as always friendly Kamenci!

Yesterday the 20th anniversary hike to Malo Goro. In Kamnje refreshments with donuts and coffee, then we went nicely in the company of friends along the path of mowers and rakers towards the goal. Sunshine and cheerful mood accompanied us. On Mali Gori nice sunny service with a good portion of polenta and a smile. A bit of cultural program and awarding of cakes to the oldest and youngest participant. Then a few snowflakes started. I went to Čaven and then finished with mass at St. Paul. Anyway, a nice holiday day!

Today with friend on Mali Golak. Started at junction, then path to trail from Predmeja and trail to top, morning walked in sun, cold, on descent fog started rising. Nice day and good service in hut, recommend!

Today, despite bad weather forecast and light sprinkling from fog, we persisted and went to Krn Lake. Last quarter of path snow starts, at snow gauge approx 1m. At the Welcome sign sun wanted to greet us, but didn't succeed well. Worth persisting, also due to friendly staff at hut at Krn Lakes, where they welcomed and served us very nicely! In short wonderful day in good company! Highly recommend!!
