Today climbed a wonderful ridge that takes you directly to the top of Kozjek.
Descent via marked trail back to Socka. The ridge offers nice, sometimes quite exposed climbing grade I and II in good rock...cca 150 meters.
Nicely spent Saturday.

Yesterday's visit to this part of the Carnic Alps.
The path is secured with cables in some places, which are very useful during the one-hour ridge crossing.
The ridge itself is sharp, cables in some places, mostly not. It's a combination of steep grass on the south side and crumbly rock on the north.
For the circular route we took cca 7 hours.

Due to a late start and consequently full parking lot at Blato, I head past the hut at Jezero and across Viševnik pasture into 7J valley. Haven't walked here for quite some time and it's still beautiful

I was also up there today.
From Florij up via the secured route, descent via the direct route.
There's no mention of any new rockfall and destroyed protections. Apparently they closed the path based on some quasi posts on social networks, but didn't check the situation on the spot.
A nice, somewhat lonely path across the Zapotok pasture towards Kanja saddle. It was worth driving so far.

Quite a few visitors, as usual for this peak. Hikers' equipment though…no point wasting words

Congratulations. Nice tour and nice description.

For one of the last summer days I choose a visit to Mrzla gora. Access to the triangular scree we do today completely new. The gully we entered, of course on purpose, was not quite the right one, the jump in it was a brilliant overture to the continuation.
Hudi prask is just like that.
