On Saturday we plan a trip along the ridge from Jerebikovec to Vošca or Blekova planina. I'm interested approximately how long the trip would take and how passable the paths along the border ridge are (probably no more snow?). How long would it take if we started before Jureževa planina and did a circular variant. (From Kranjska Gora it seems too long a tour for me, because there will be quite a few of us and also some people who have been retired for a long time who like a slower pace)

Thanks for answers!
Regards, Franci

Hello!

Through the club we're organizing a more demanding trip on Sunday from Tamar to Jalovec. Interested in snow conditions. Is winter gear needed for this route (ice axe sufficient?) for all participants? Possible to secure the snowy section just with a climbing rope (how many meters is the snow crossing and what's the slope?)? Thanks for answers!
Regards Franci

Hello!
Interested in conditions on the path through Žrelo. Any snow patches left?
Thanks and best,

Hello!
Since I plan to do the route Markova Raven - Mokriška jama - Mokrica - Kompotela and back to the valley along the marked path next week, I'm curious about snow conditions if I go to Košutna and via the secured section to Planina Koren.
Is there still snow and can it be done without winter gear.

Thanks for the reply and best regards,
Franc P.

I'm not for left nor right - for democracy and Slovenia - surely for SDS far from any rights. All promoted in media is communist scum linked to Serbian crime underworld (KUL) even so-called lefties like Čordić and Potrč in any democracy with laws long in jail.
Now this left filth steals money on referendum - political farce - few thousand vote against so throwing money out window.

Hello!

I'm interested if there's still any snow on the ascent and descent? We'll approach past the hunting hut on an unmarked path and descend towards Kokrsko sedlo. I have the trip on Saturday, 26. 6. and wonder if snowfields above the hut are still there, or if a detour or even winter gear is needed.

Thanks for the answer,
Franci

Every smart talk is pointless - especially evaluating laws and regulations that are given for a reason. Also, how everyone has their interests etc... Otherwise, breaking laws has its name. Sense of laws - no need to burden with that - most criticized by people who have no idea, people without higher or high education, below-average informed.

In our dear country the only problem are media that advocate measures and spit on them. In red star and almost illiterate MPs I see no solution.

Nice that majority of people will get vaccinated, which will bring approximately normal and almost equal life very quickly.

Closing the country for Easter holidays would be welcome then opening, so that by May the country ends with most restrictions.

Still looking at data from the Diamond Princess ship, where there were officially 712 infected. 14 people died - within about 5 weeks. If you look at the population of 700 people on the ship, I think the expected mortality in the following weeks is almost 2%, right?

Other indicators also showed that the data are genuine. Comparison with flu is unfounded because flu annually affects much fewer people than covid and spreads more slowly in the population.

Not even remotely worse than others.
The problem is nursing homes - the number of sick people increases so fast there.
Given that it's healthcare workers employed there, that it's planned and directed from somewhere. Mine goes on Friday for a 5-year check-up, because of the job - right now. Why are shops closed?
So politics and that deep state - conspiracy.

Horror - dr. M. Potrč prescribed, with the blessing of T. F.

I don't wear a mask myself, because usually in one hour I meet up to 10 people - on the other side of the street. Just an advantage if you live in a village. I don't socialize either, except greeting across the street and visiting parents.
Many wear masks and go straight from one group of friends to another.
For hiking in the hills to another municipality you're not endangering anyone, but if rules are for all, let them be for all and I'll follow them to that extent, for this time, which hopefully passes as soon as possible.
fpetel12. 11. 2020 13:51:48

I would go too, but I'll hold out a few more weeks around home.

I'm not home in the right municipality - but it's true that on Zeleniške Špice you don't endanger anyone but yourself.
Late autumn = wet or icy path and short day, means higher risk of accident - harder care in hospital due to the occupancy of doctors.

Safe steps and caution

(Swedish model is based on community responsibility, tolerance and following all government recommendations nasmeh )

Just adding that Slovenia currently cannot be compared to Austria, because it has so much higher infection rate and so much worse health system. According to known facts so far younger people are not directly threatened. In mountains of course you don't need a mask, as long as you don't walk in procession. Processions currently are not the most appropriate and not even allowed.
fpetel129. 10. 2020 19:03:34
So Slovenia is one of the few countries where people aren't really afraid of infections at all and make fun of measures - crossing municipal border to ŠG isn't controversial, more that there are a hundred and more people up there who don't care about measures. Other European countries usually support measures and people follow rules and are also scared. (Of course Belgium didn't follow even in spring and has the best situation again. It's so fine that infected nurses still work on Covid ward if not seriously ill. Obviously people over 65 are just a burden there and better if they get taken earlier.)
fpetel129. 10. 2020 17:45:25
It's a bit strange - they don't even wear masks when groups have fun. Quite a few people around me sick. Chaos in hospital. Everything full - intensive care burned out. People don't follow any rules. Don't you see huge difference between April and now? Maybe factor 30 and still exponential curve. This won't calm down by itself. Patients immune less than 3 months. Young recover without symptoms. Locking people up is still only option.

I'll comment.
JJ will do as neighboring countries do. Thank God we have him. If only Milančkis, we'd still have capital in Belgrade, old stall in front of the house and in quarantine because of Belgrade and Skopje and since Slo. wouldn't do what was ordered then Hej brigades would marchnasmeh Peasant wisdom says danger is not big and in mountains even less. But I don't agree with deliberate disregard of rules. That's why in Spain 500 fewer people every day because of this virus, in Germany at most 100 or less - that's the difference. Danger is the same in both countries - even if not now, it was comparable three weeks ago and Angela is not easing measures any faster than Slovenia, yet has 6x fewer cases than it had three weeks ago.

Most people work for the good of others, only a few want to destroy. Bans have always existed and must exist - if they are too mild or too strict, time will show, but importantly and responsibly, we must follow them and here in Slovenia we are still far ahead of nations to the east and south. Here we live, for the most part, unlike many other places, responsible and serious people. Bravo - and as few disagreements and senseless gossip as possible. Let's hope the whole world overcomes this threat from China.
