Since it's now crocus blooming time, we also peeked a bit into Carinthia to the Poden valley, where white nuns' crocuses are blooming in abundance, and since we weren't only in the valley, we also turned to Vgrizeva pasture, which isn't far away.

With my friend Tadej we went today to the Vipava hills, where we did a circular route: Podnanos - Orehovica - St. Socerb - St. Ana - Vrabče - Orehovica - Podnanos.

Yesterday 6.9.2023 I found Leki trekking poles at the end of Kriška planina - Krvavec. Poles are with Pr. Florjan at Kriška planina.

An ice axe is a mandatory part of mountain equipment in the high mountains, even though summer is approaching. We can always be surprised by a steep snowfield. Life is only one and cannot be compared to carrying an ice axe.

As @ ločanka already wrote, evergreen gladnica and it's one of the first spring flowers that blooms even in high mountains.

For such precious flowers like the lady's slipper their habitats are not publicly posted.

Branko, your globeflower surely isn't alpine, because white fringes are visible under the flower.
