Today from Kamniška Bistrica (hut) to the summit. Not much snow, but enough to make cornices that greatly hinder progress.
But gorgeous weather with super views. A strong icy wind was blowing, though, especially over "streha" and on the summit.

Yesterday's hike from Kamniška Bistrica (Žagana peč) and traverse of Kalški greben. The path goes past the hunting hut and over Kalce to the lower marked path below Kalški greben. More in pictures...

Yesterday's ascent to Križ. Walking conditions almost ideal, except before the entrance and up to half the gully the annoying crust was breaking through. Otherwise pictures say more...

Pictures say more about today's tour. Otherwise, Turkish gully well passable, on sun-exposed spots thaw and resulting in nasty slush on crampons. Road no problem drivable to turnaround.

Today did a circular tour over Ojstrica. Podvežak-Mala Ojstrica-Ojstrica-Korošica-Vodotočnik and around Deska, and Lastovca back to Podvežak. Weather flawless, on the path itself no peculiarities. Let the pictures tell more...

Yesterday on Bavarian Grintavec from Soča. The path is very nice and yesterday just the right day for it. Practically no snow, except individual patches. Similar conditions on the north side too.

Špik through Kačji graben "easy", "nothing special" etc...??? Similar to Viševnik??? Don't know through which KG you went, I went through the one on the bottom pictures. Easy and no problem, then I'd go in the afternoon after work to Pohorje. Think about it, forums are read by many who don't have "three clean" about mountaineering, so put yourself in their shoes and describe conditions accordingly.

Today sunny weather was forecasted, so I decided to drive to Pokljuka and 'do' the local peaks. The route was: Rudno polje-Konjščica-Studorski preval-Ablanca-V. Draški vrh-Srenjski preval-Viševnik. The tour was nice but weather didn't hold, fog and low clouds, so practically no views. Otherwise conditions for hiking are very good.

You can drive into Logarska without problems to the turning point, as the valley is almost snow-free.

today we did the tour Logarska-Okrešelj-Turski žleb-Rinke (Mala,Štajerska,Koroška for Kranjska were too weak conditions...) Weather was fantastic with wonderful views, on summits almost no wind. Conditions in general still quite solid but very variable. From the start of the gully all the way to Rinke you find powder up to knees and more, crusts, frozen... We were the first today after last snowfall through the gully to Rinke (behind us two more came with skis to top of gully), so track is made.
Just have to mention one caution above Rinka waterfall when crossing first ladder, which is completely iced.
