The path to Prisojnik along the ridge is bare, at maybe five spots you step a few steps on snow (barely a sample). At some places it can be a bit slippery, we had crampons with us just to get them used to the frost (luckily we didn't use them). Descent via Slovenska requires more caution because it's in shade and has a bit more snow, at two spots a few meters are icy. If the weather is clear, in my opinion there's no problem, but in case of fog or clouds it can be tricky.

Tons of ski tourers and also some hikers today towards summit via Šentanski avalanche track. For skiers ascent no problem, for hikers mostly also, as it rarely slightly sinks under feet. On top like on beach, sun and shade far away all around. Ski descent required some caution in upper part due to a few stones, on avalanche track occasionally slightly sinking. My wife and I are going to Jalovec from Tamar (planning to start from Planica at 5, then up over Kotovo sedlo, down to Ozebnik and to Tamar

Is the reverse variant maybe better regarding difficulty?

Despite the cloudy weather, we four friends set off for Mala Tičarica (1907).
At half past 8 we started from Planina Blato cheerfully towards Planina pri Jezeru and further. Clouds slowly covered the sky and sprinkled us three times briefly.
Despite everything, after a good three hours we arrived at the summit, had a wonderful view, without sun though, then went back down with raindrops. At Planina Blato the sun was already shining, so at least we weren't wet. But we had a nice training for our condition.

I'm new to the forum but have been hiking for a long time, I'm interested in the path to Kotovo Saddle, how much snow there is or if it sinks in anywhere, is it good to take snowshoes with you (last week with my wife under Križka wall she almost burned out because in the upper part it was sinking to the knees)
