On the path from Bistrica ob Sotli, there are some branches, and in the rain also mud.

Saint Augustine is a 504 m high hill in Velika Varnica. On top there are two churches and it is also a popular pilgrimage path. The biggest attendance is the last Sunday in August on Augustine Sunday. The fastest access is along the pilgrimage path, cca 20 to 30 minutes. Or you can drive higher by car and park by the road. The path from Cvetlin goes partly through Croatian territory and is less maintained. Walking takes about 40 min, if you are in a column then maybe an hour. And don't forget some document, you are on the Schengen border!

I haven't been to Šmarna gora yet and dare to comment from in front of the computer. This with Raduha will be tougher, to the right of Rogatec you can see Golte.

Yes this trail is a bit tricky for orientation in some parts. Partly because paths cross (Brezovec, Gradišča Hum-Arnejčič) and you end up on HPP and go a bit elsewhere-tested. Some trees with markers have ended up in the trees (Paradiž). In such conditions as you I haven't walked it yet, but it would be a bit tough in one day.

Farm Kozarčan is only about 5 min (300 m) from Bračič's. On foot via shortcut, towards that antenna on the hill.

KT4 is at Slatina 40. Easiest to find if you follow the signpost at Okič to bakery Blanka. Lajcicar picture 9 a few posts back.
And don't forget to try specialties from Blanka's oven.

In summer heat it's hard to get ticks because they hide. You can get something for € too and it's cheap!
Today there were many hikers on Ravna gora. Paths were muddy and slippery.

Gore123 - you won't go up there with kids, the path continues with scree to the gate! Otherwise snakes are everywhere, endangered is only the first in the column, if he clumsily steps on it.

Nice, no doubt, but I'd have one question: where are actually these Haloze if that's the highest peak. Sometimes it was somehow different. And Resenik and Donačka, where are they? Geographically I know eastern Karavanke. If Žetale no longer in Haloze then really don't know, eastern peak on Donačka is Žetalski at least locals say so.

This time a circular path past Goleški gor and back to the valley along the pilgrimage path. Snow 10 to 20 cm but no one anywhere. At the end of the path an enthusiastic dog pack greeted me; there's always something to be found in the backpack.
