On 30 October my wife and I enjoyed the autumn splendour of Menina Pasture. Whatever snow fell is gone now. The hut is open only on weekends now. All trails are suitable for family outings.

Bohinj locals could try a bit harder to squeeze some euro from tourists, not just with tolls, parking fees,... Last winter due to fog couldn't ski at Vogel, so wife and I went for a walk past the lake, a bit around Stara Fužina and got intentionally a bit lost, at same time looking for snack. Sad, but satisfied and full we left from hotel by the lake. Don't know if I can't find right info or that's it. Regards.

I don't believe that the high parking fee deters anyone from driving to Blato. It could be 100% higher and there still wouldn't be space on the parking lot. But it's not fair to compare Blato with Logarska. There the "entrance" to the valley is 7€ and annual 15€ (if I'm not mistaken), here it's just parking and nothing else. I don't know if there's an annual ticket for Blato parking. Otherwise, the descent into the valley is more tedious than the ascent at the start of the tour, full of energy.
