Description:
Situated on the Cardona Salt Mountain, we can observe a wide landscape of white and ochre tones distinct from the surrounding territory, the result of many years of exploitation of the large salt mass in its subsoil. In the westernmost part, a large subsidence of this terrain has formed the Bòfia Gran, a depression through which water filters, and this is how Forat Micó was formed after persistent water erosion opening its way through the saline mass with its dissolving power. The result is a sinuous and narrow conduit emerging outside after over six hundred metres and dropping twenty-five metres. Between the two mouths, a true natural work of art has been created.
