Description: The Gödöllő Grassalkovich Palace is one of Hungary's largest Baroque palaces, built in the 1730s by the 18th century's most prominent nobleman, Antal Grassalkovich, confidant of Maria Theresa. The palace had many illustrious guests; Maria Theresa visited in 1751, and after the Battle of Isaszeg, Lajos Kossuth and his entourage were celebrated.
