Description:
Hello friends,
in this video we show you the ascent to Gehrenspitze in Tyrol. We start in Wängle near Reutte. The summit approach is technically demanding and only recommended for experienced mountaineers. Just below the summit, we wanted to bypass a steep snowfield and tried to climb the ridge to the top. The difficulty is around UIAA 2, as far as I know. But there was ice and snow on the ridge in places. I had a bad feeling, so we decided to turn back not far from the summit. With a bit more risk tolerance, the summit would certainly have been reachable. But in the end, only getting down healthy from the mountain counts, so I'm satisfied with this tour.
