Description:
Via ferrata Martinské hole.
The so-called HZS Ferrata (Mountain Rescue Service) leads from the town of Martin (Stráne part) to the huts in the Martinské hole recreation center (Martinky). The path through the Pivovarský stream canyon is one-way and branches at one point, offering visitors the choice of an easier (B) or more demanding (C) ascent variant. Both variants later merge again. The Fatra via ferrata, whether we choose B or C, represents true wilderness. Steep rocks, waterfalls up to 30 m high, but also rest areas where the visitor regains some lost strength, all promise a truly unique experience. Visiting this site, even choosing the easier route, requires courage and good physical (and mental) condition.
