The Great Traithen is with 1852m the highest mountain in the district of Rosenheim and offers due to its location an impressive view of the main Alpine ridge as well as the Wendelstein directly opposite.
Started at the Gasthof Rosengasse, it first went over Traithenkessel and Fellalmsattel up to the great Traithen.
