This week's route is a bit peculiar; the weather forecast for Saturday is average, terrible at night, and good on Sunday.

We packed backpacks for two days including tent, as the Caballo refuge might be full. We decided to ascend from Nigüelas, meeting point to start after coffee in the village. The initial impression of the track was excellent; they cemented the first curves that were very bad. As we ascended the path, it got more complicated, and we barely made it without damaging the cars. We had a Ford Focus, and the track isn't good even for 4x4. We reached Cortijo Echevarría and thought from there one could reach Rinconada de Nigüelas.
