Description:
ROUTE: From the refuge descend along the track towards Val Badia (Capanna Alpina) after about 300m descent exit right of the track and with a big traverse head decisively towards Forcella di Lech (the third forcella from right to left). At the foot of the Forcella put on skins and with various turns that become progressively tighter reach the Forcella 2486m. From the Forcella descend the opposite side trying to stay as much as possible on the right to the bottom of the valley called Gran Plan. At this point skin up east on almost flat path towards Malga Fanes Grande which need not be reached. Just before the Malga turn right south and ascend the wide evident Vallon Bianco, at this point the objective is well visible. Climb keeping to the right of the valley to reach the Bivacco (small wooden hut) right at the foot of Monte Castello.
