Description: Today we delve into another great pilgrimage we can undertake: the Via Francigena, also called Via Romea Francigena or Sigeric's Itinerary.
Although its name can be translated as "road coming from France," the ancient Via Francigena route has always started at Canterbury Cathedral in Britain and ends at St. Peter's Square in the Vatican. The Via Francigena is 2044 km long. By countries: 32 km in the United Kingdom, 785 in France, 214 in Switzerland, and 1014 in Italy. Up for it?
