@jedriličar
Passo Principe is mainly starting point for Catinaccio d'Antermoia - nice easy ferrata that brings you to nice panoramic summit. I recommend it, but if you're a bit more experienced ferratist it'll probably seem too easy to you (by eye not much substantially harder than Slovenian on Mangart).
As for harder, I know you could pull from there also Laurenzier ferrata, which is somewhat more beastly. But about it I can't say anything firsthand.

Maybe not purely mountaineering topic, but still. Sharing wonderful panoramas from January ski trip through Dolomites.

Holidays in the Dolomites, a bit crowded but hard to be anything nicer. 5 days by bike and two days on foot through beautiful landscape, riddled with cablecars and gondolas. But if a little earlier easily skip crowds arriving nearer summit by gondolas.
More I'll add under pics ...
Tofane exploded in the sunset over Cortina.1
 Cortina2
By bike over Passo tre Croci to Misurina where Tre Cime appear.3
 Lago Misurina and Sorapiss.4
From Misurina to Cim is a killer climb. The last part from rifugio Lavaredo must be on foot.5
Along the path to passo Falzarego the Cinque Torri appear.6
On Lagazuoi a hiking trail leads through tunnels from the First World War. It is arranged as an open-air museum with furnished living spaces, machine gun nests, observation posts ... helmet is recommended, otherwise you might7
Panorama of Falzarego, behind Pelmo and Civetta.8
Summit of Lagazuoi, Tofane in the background.9
On the passes you meet plenty of motorcyclists of all kinds :)10
From Falzarego via shortcut below Cinque Torri I hurried to passo Giau.11
Passo Giau was perhaps even the most beautiful, as no cable cars or gondolas spoil it from the Cortina side.12
Passo Giau13
One of the next stops was Trafoi below Stelvio.14
Fly me to the moon :)15
Early morning little traffic on Stelvio and more furry busybodies.16
One whistled at me :)17
Stelvio hairpins18
Ortler towers over Stelvio. The picture is from Switzerland, as the border is 5 minutes' walk at the top of Piz da las Trais Linguas right above Stelvio.19
A detail from the glacier ...20
In the afternoon I went to refuel in Austria and along the way saw what happens when absolute power tackles water management - Lago di Resia21
Sassolungo and company above Val Gardena.22
Morning picture from the camp. First sun rays on Rif. F. Cavazza al Pisciadu.23
From Pordoi on foot to Piz Boè. This marmot has a studio apartment with a view of Canazei :)24
The gondola starts only at nine, so you can reach the top without problems before the crowds arrive. I was alone on the top for a few minutes, then a couple came behind me. The only Slovenians I met25
Panorama in front of Sass Pordoi with Sassolungo in the background.26
Beautiful contrast of green Pordoi and gray-white Marmolada.27
For about twenty minutes there was peace and quiet on the summit, then the first wave of visitors from the gondola arrived, so it was time to descend.28
Below I went for a walk to the tomb of German and Austrian soldiers.29
Alta Badia from Valparola Pass30
Civetta and Aleghe31
Pelmo32
In the end almost 10 km of elevation gain accumulated, some on foot, some by bike :)33

I felt quite touched by your beautiful pics. The Dolomites are really something special, it's hard not to be touched by them. I've already rushed to the mentioned passes and also done quite a few nice hikes on foot. This year it didn't work outmrk pogled, next year for sure. Good luck and lots of fun ahead!velik nasmeh

Weekend two weeks ago (15-17 July) I hiked a couple of easier paths around Cortina d'Ampezzo. The weather all three days was ideal for walking, not too hot and stable; Friday evening at Passo Giau (approx 2200 m) thermometer showed only 2 degrees.
Friday afternoon I started from Lago d'Antorno lake, less than a kilometer before the toll station for Tre Cime or Rifugio Auronzo, towards Bosi hut and further to Monte Piana. To the hut there's a solid but narrow road closed to traffic, every 20 minutes 'Jeep Shuttle' runs. But for these 400 meters of elevation better on foot, as the path is nice and higher up also scenic (only jeeps disturb the mountaineering atmosphere). From the hut onwards the plateau opens soon with excellent views all around. On the plateau itself there are many remains from WWI, from cannon in front of the hut to various trenches and barbed wire, as we are in an open museum in memory of the long (2 years) and bloody battle unknown to us (Battaglia di Monte Piana).
Down I went via another variant, to Val Rinbianco valley. At the beginning the path is somewhat exposed but secured, then no more special features. Then along the valley by the stream to the starting point, Antorno lake.
I awaited sunset on the other side of Cortina d'Ampezzo, at Passo Giau.

On Saturday for the first walk/hike I circled Croda da Lago. Despite the name it's not the lake's name, but the mountain, which is very impressive from afar, up close nothing special, but the main attraction of the path is the lake - Lago Federa.
As second goal of the day Cinque Torre, of course to the top, which is an alpinistic feat (two were just abseiling from one tower), but hut nearby - Rifugio Scoiattoli. Where they hosted a wedding party - interesting to see wedding guests in high mountain environment.

On Sunday I ascended the only summit of this extended weekend, Nuvolau at 2575m, but barely noticed it, because one hut is 100m below the summit, one on the summit itself. I did a circular tour starting a bit below Passo Falzarego, back past Cinque Torre.
To end the day I went to the other side of Cortina - Passo Falzarego road, below Tofane. From there splendid view of Cinque Torre, Nuvolau, especially Croda di Lago. So I just couldn't descend to the valley until the last sun rays disappeared from those peaks.
