Yes, tisa, a beautiful secured mountain path leads from the Koritnica valley to Kotovo sedlo on which the female hiker on the photo is climbing. This beautiful and at the same time one of the wildest and still little frequented (crowded) valleys is besides Kotovo sedlo also an excellent starting point for Mangart and the shelter under Špička (all paths are very demanding!)...

I was up there about 30 times, but unfortunately not during construction (thanks uncle Google). It's nicely made, especially I like the carved reliefs. Is the author known, perhaps the same as the author of the angel figurine along the steep path to Nanos?
Yes, it's really nice up there, especially in summer when the wind caresses the grass, and in between a couple hundred sheep...

The chapel and the winged angel head were carved by Vid Premrl, now the parish priest in Slivje.
I saw this info somewhere.(Google)

If my memory serves me right it's the chapel of St. Urbana and not Vrbana as B2 writes.

Vid Premrl also carved the angel figurines above the last trough on the steep path to Nanos from Razdrto. And I think also the stone signposts along the path to Lonica or Holy Trinity
