Otherwise nice snow for walking. At least on that unmarked right one (from Leskovice). The marked one is more slippery due to "skiers".

Beautiful days invite to Blegoš. Paths are nicely trodden.
Problematic is the approach to Črni Kal from Poljanska dolina. Especially demanding are the last 500 m before Črni Kal. Road is icy, requires skilled driver. In the last slope there are jams, slips. So drivers shouldn't overestimate and park lower by the road!

In the cold morning we did a circular path: From Črni Kal along the road towards Prva ravna, ascent through the forest to the first bunker, then the next and to the top, where it was windy and cold. This time we mountaineers of PD Škofja Loka section Četrtkocvi -retirees- headed to home hills. We have four major peaks that we visit alternately every year. This year Blegoš was up. We went to it via Črni vrh, to Slugova dolina. Down again a bit differently-to Robidnica. Unfortunately in the last part only asphalt. At the Črni vrh ski area we saw what a water flood does. Service path by the double chair is completely destroyed. Ditches up to half a meter deep.

At these direction signs from Eje, our path to Blegoš began.

This picture everyone recognizes, in my opinion.

Now we are really close to the hut on Blegoš - we didn't climb to the top - it was too hot.

Sausage day. We ate good ajmoht and crackling potica. Here they bake tasty flancate.

Yesterday we chose a completely different starting point for Blegoš, namely under Črni vrh, the so-called at the barracks. We started in fog, but with height it was less and less. We were delighted when we reached some kind of path junction, Slugov grič and checked all options. Already there we decided to return via Slugova dolina, since my curiosity was very great, and that for many years nasmeh

. But sometimes it just drags until you step on the desired one nasmeh

Under the hut a sympathetic, well-fed orange tomcat greeted us, who quickly started cooking up some grudge, probably because we didn't think to offer him something to eat.
In one way we are all the same nasmeh

On the ascent further from the hut, we quickly realized crampons would be needed, well at least those who had them nasmeh

. A hiker without poles and crampons came towards us and said he missed the summit this time as it seemed too dangerous. He complained about wind and cold on top too. That didn't worry me excessively, since we're used to everything.

The summit was yesterday a wonderful viewpoint towards Julians, also towards Karavanke and Kamniks. Towards south and lowlands elsewhere, fogs were floating and waving, only Snežnik stood out from that foggy sea. No one was seen on top snacking, everyone quickly fled down. We returned to the hut via lower path. Then we continued as decided earlier, via unmarked path over Špehovše, and then turned into Slugova dolina, where years ago they built a new chapel in thanks and supplication. It looked like no permanent residents there anymore, but quite a few new weekend houses.

We returned via Tuškov grič, and thus made a nice loop also on the drive, just like loops we made on the path. Very good tour, with quite new paths and details.

On Friday we went to Blegoš again a bit differently than before. We imagined the start in Lazah, then through Slugova dolina over unmarked ridge Špehovš to the hut and of course ascent to Blegoš. Return to saddle Slugov grič via marked, i.e. lower path and then ascent again to Črni vrh. Descent from there towards Robidnica. We found the path there at the parking under the barracks. So we got to know the path from Lazah starting point and also from Robidnica at once. But we swear by the one from Laz. Only the parking has changed a bit from the description, need to park earlier namely at the start of walking. The owner warned us.

But what excited us most was the view from the top or already a bit lower, which reaches over our peaks right to Italy, which we hadn't noticed before. Carnics, Dolomites, everything is there. Behind Porezen the Antelao, king of Dolomites shows up. Ratitovec doesn't offer this view and at least in this Blegoš certainly surpasses it. In nice weather Blegoš is an exceptional viewpoint. And on Friday no wind either!
I recommend this path variant!

Quick hop to Blegoš from classic: Leskovica.
Real summer weather all the way: very hot, sun scorches Lp, no breeze jezik

Path excellently maintained, well marked. Last year's storms didn't touch it.
On top wonderful: just right warm, no wind, in short full martini time + enjoyment of views. And full of white crocuses.

This year I went to Blegoš with DU Britof-Predoslje as assistant guide. To the classic starting point only with 40-seater bus and exactly that many of us. Then left on the nice path. To the right a quite steep path to Blegoš. But in the end a quite stony and partly steep path leads directly to the top of Blegoš. Up there we ran into about a hundred youth from Žiri primary school-very praiseworthy. Then down to the hut for warm snack. Back via lower path to starting point. It was nice, although not too sunny weather. On top of Blegoš it was properly windy. For admiring gentians need to come a week later. Right on top of Blegoš bloom rehlikan (black) gentians.

At the end the path is quite steep and rocky.

At the end of the path a flower of the kimastoplodnega šipka greeted us too ..

In the forest I also stumbled upon a green čmerika - I don't see it flowering very often.

The greatest decoration of the Blegoš summit are the obirske sivice.

On Friday evening 16 hikers set off from Leskovica towards Blegoš. We had an excellent guide, local who knows these places well. We went via path past the abyss. With height the snow depth increased. When we reached the road connecting Prva raven and hut, we decided that trampling all the way to top is currently too dangerous and turned towards hut. Almost all time we walked in shelter, few hundred meters before hut it pulled strongly. Arrived late to hut, got excellent strudel and pehtran potica.

Return past shelter at Jelenci to Leskovica. Descent was express, as path descends well. Due to morning snowfall no ice, but snow was expectedly powdery. All the way we had pristine whiteness in front and around. It was super! nasmeh

Snow increases with altitude, up to 30 cm

With headlamp visibility excellent, but only black-and-white shades

On the return, the moon just broke through the cloudy sky

Around 17 I started above Leskovica, at junction right on road. At monument already first whistlers. On top windy but could endure in shorts. Still coming and going, hut open. Just before hut turn left past hut and my way back to start.

In the morning I had no time and quickly decided to go to Blegoš from the Črni kal direction. The gravel road from the Sus (Hotavlje) direction is in bad condition. The storm under Blegoš approached quickly, lots of visitors for the morning, later when already near the car it also started raining. I mostly hike in the afternoons in the mountains, but such varied weather I haven't experienced for a long time.
