Yesterday I was on Brana from the hut below Rinka waterfall, past Okrešelj and further past the saddle. Just before my wife, two other hikers, and I entered the wall below K.sedlo, some stones flew from the tops, so a helmet is an important factor in the mountains. The trip was wonderful, two-way traffic and crowded. And this: for a long time I haven't seen so many edelweiss in one place as on the way back to the hut at K.sedlo.

This interests me, I've never even been to Brana, but I'd climb it up this mountain and down the classic from KS, I'm a fan of circular paths nasmeh

So on Saturday I managed to scramble/hike/climb mežikanje

, just before Pastirci into the first gully, steeply up between rocks, a bit exposed scrambling, climbed to the first grassy knoll, traversed to the second gully and up that, bit more to climb, then you reach the first pinnacles and onwards along the summits, pretty demanding and sheer drop on both sides, highest pinnacle-peak is Blekova glava (around 2000m), bit of descent-climbing and on to Brana plateau, where nothing dangerous anymore, descent to Kamn. sedlo was in snow and very windy...

Yes, as "the dancer" already wrote, you need to turn left a bit below Pastirci into the well-visible gully (Bosovo, where steeply but only with slight hand assistance we climb to the ridge, which we then follow with slight deviations left and right to the top. On the left side below we'll gaze at the slope where there was a fire years ago (Požar), otherwise the ridge is quite airy at places, so caution needed, and tracks of predecessors visible (footprints, worn scree...). Good luck!
BTW, you can spice up the route from the start. I started from Jermanca along the hunter's path, which mostly follows the cableway to Kamniško sedlo, then intuitively turned left (bit below Pastirci) into Bosovo gully.

the dancer, you probably meant Kaptanova glava, not Blekova. mežikanje

But the Blek plateau is a bit higher, that's correct.

On Sunday climbed Brana via Bosovo gully and Kaptan. Conditions super, hard snow in gully, wind on ridge. No avalanche danger, beautiful and strenuous tour! nasmeh

Soon we're going to Brana, wondering how it is from Kamniško sedlo onwards to Brana, is there still snow and is it possible to reach the top without crampons. Thanks

Today I planned to reach Brana, but naively left crampons at home. Without crampons and ice axe I think for now it won't go.

On the northern side on the scree there's an even larger snowfield. To bypass it go lower along the already quite eroded path across the scree (right before the marked path turns left upwards before the snowfield), then straight up through the grass to the marked path. The path onwards all the way to the summit is completely dry.

This weekend we're heading to Brana, so please someone for info on what the path from Kam.sedlo to Brana is like.....is it dry?
