Something is seriously wrong with you. Now either you don't work in healthcare at all, or you're breaking internal rules by inviting visitors to departments. Come on, tell your name and surname, you anonymous one, and the hospital where you work, so I can check if you have different rules regarding visits. That we have such staff in healthcare even I, a conspiracy theorist, didn't think, meaning it's even worse. Otherwise I've always avoided people with flu, which has similar mortality as covid 19, don't know why I'd now rush among the sick with flu or covid?? 
P.S.: I forgot by the way that flu has disappeared from the face of the earth, right, maybe that's the reason there's no excess mortality in the world. Flu disappeared was minus, covid appeared and it's even. We'll get to answers, just need to be patient

VanSims, virus isn't any more dangerous than flu, but it's new isn't it and as such more interesting. Most important in all this is propaganda. When some world media started story of deadly Chinese virus, dominos started falling. From then only that in reports. Virus doesn't have HIV and malaria additions, hope you understand what genome is. That doesn't mean it's as dangerous as HIV or malaria, but has some of their elements in genetic structure. How this virus got out of lab now, of course not known, intentional or accident.
I personally not supporter of story that all was planned back then, though I allow possibility. If planned, then at most by pharma. Those leeches and hyenas in form of politics, traders and part of medical profession appeared after. Opportunity makes thief they say and holds today. I was at client last week who says his doctor friend just bought yacht now because says if not now then never. Now sailing bit and sunbathing.
