The government's expert group for covid-19 did not, on Sunday, propose the reintroduction of mandatory outdoor mask-wearing during the new state lockdown that starts tomorrow.
This was confirmed yesterday to necenzurirano.si by its head Mateja Logar. "There was no special discussion about outdoor masks," said Logar. Several sources had already confirmed to us before that no member of the expert group proposed introducing this measure. When asked why the government then adopted it, Logar replied that it was a government decision. "Our group does not adopt any measures. We proposed a state lockdown to the government. Decisions on individual measures are made by the government," explained Logar, who took over leadership of the expert group in early March.

This is certainly telling. For two reasons:
First. Obviously Logar also sees her role as head of the expert group as that of a government apparatchik. In short, she is well aware that the decision is stupid, but she stands on the position that disagreement with the government must not be expressed publicly. And from this come all the nonsense about "aerosol clouds" that we've heard during this epidemic. Sorry, that's simply not the role of a thinking expert that one would expect in society.
And second, at first glance it's clear that the mandatory mask measure stems from just one thing, namely distrust of people. And how long have we been hearing that communication is wrong, that we shouldn't just threaten people, but establish their trust. Now tell me - how will you get people to trust you if with your measures and statements at every step you show that you don't trust them? You reap what you sow.

Primož, I don't understand something: some say that in Slovenia the third wave and covid in general are due to communication, others say that the third wave in Slovenia is due to vaccination.
What about whole Europe, hit by the third wave and all in red, closing borders, introducing measures (worse than ours), is it also communication and vaccination?
PS: due to the third wave and rising infections, France closes all schools until end of April!

Remember year ago how some spat when Potrč said they record deaths WITH covid and DUE TO covid. That he's guilty for deaths, conspiracy theorist etc. Now you see he was right, experts admitted. Have own judgment, always doubt served info, seek evidence. Covid mafia wants opposite.
Ask why YouTube censors scientists/doctors with different covid view. I know a top news portal has directive not to publish alternative expert opinions. Why only one truth here. Why media used refugee coffins from sunken ship for Bergamo deaths. And more. Critical thinking only way out of madness. You'll see 2022 no different. Surrendered to carry this lifelong?
