Dobrovlje

Clear Christmas morning!
The decision is made quickly and with a friend we're already heading to Dobrovlje. Cold morning - view to the valley (mists rising from Braslovško Lake). Soon we're at the top - no more clear skies (few snowflakes). View towards K.S. Alps - still partly clear and sunny (snowy whiteness). We make a loop over Bezovec and descend to the valley.
Nice morning and quickly to Christmas lunch.

Like this, today a bit lower due to bad weather in high mountains. Pručkaši did a nice tour starting from Letuš over Dobrovelj (one of Bezovec peaks, followed Čreta) to Vransko. Total walking cca 5 hours, it's a nice, less demanding path that relaxes a person just as well and gives new energy for the coming work week. Not much snow, but some.
I recommend.

After three weeks of lying around (after surgery) and a strong desire for mountains, today I went with friends a bit to the sun. They diligently visited mountains and kept their fitness - I currently collapse after the morning hike.
The path was adapted to my fitness and we went.
Castle Žovnek (7:35) Čreta (Hut 9:25) and return to the castle 11:20. In a nice sunny day we completed the whole path in approx. 3 hours. Nice walk on a less demanding path, which is also suitable for families with children.

Wonderful, especially that you're returning to mountain paths, as I gladly read your comments and notes on the pictures, wonderful... I myself wasn't in the mountains for one weekend and I already feel bad, I fully understand this addiction to mountains (which I didn't until recently).
Regards!

Thanks for the encouraging words (I too gladly read your posts with photos). It was hard for me every day when I looked towards the mountains and listened to friends about their hiking adventures. I'm sending you a picture that I took at the nearby lake during Easter holidays.

It also falls under the Dobrovlje category (guess for yourself which lake it is??? )1

Thanks, it really is beautiful. I admit that I don't know this place - Dobrovlje yet, since in June it will be only two years that my husband and I are discovering the beautiful parts of our country, places that enchant you in any weather and season. For this I wish health, as I still have many plans ... which peak I will still climb and ...
Maybe we'll meet somewhere again!
Lp and safe in the mountains.

With a colleague early in the morning from Letuš to Dobrovlje.
The path is trodden only to Bezovec; we dragged tracks in the new snow. At the top of Bezovec it was foggy and cold wind. Back past the hunting hut and along the hunting path to the road (towards South) and back the same path.

Where exactly is the start - is Podvrh, Zg. Gorče meant or really Letušzmeden? Did you go due to snow mainly on the road or is the path routed also through the forest - is it marked; thanks and lp

If you go from Letuš then the start can be at the little church by the let. bridge (you can park there). The path is fully marked. At the beginning it is flat then quite steep!

Yes, exactly like that, starting point is the little church at Letuš bridge, if coming from Ce direction, before Letuš bridge left uphill and you are before school and little church, where you leave the car.

Šm near Paki-Letuš-Bezovec.
Since the weather is always good, today I ran to Bezovec again. The trail is mostly not muddy at all and even spring flowers can already be found.nasmeh

So that Dobrovlje are not neglected in this multitude of hills, today I went up a bit. The path is suitable for all and everyone, all dry and pleasantly warm.

You really rarely meet anyone here. I've hiked quite a few of them already. You still meet someone around Čreta, but very few on the Braslovška side.

It's quite good that at least some nearby hill is less crowded, otherwise there are still less crowded paths but fewer and fewer... At least you know where to go quickly after a tiring 40 or more hour week....
Nice that you know the Dobrovlje paths well...

This time we chose the walking variant from home to Čreta at Dobrovlje.
Šm/Paki-Letuš-Bezovec-Čreta-hut at Čreta and back. All together 8 hours. From Letuš to Bezovec the snowy path is well trodden, from Bezovec to Čreta we made a new track. Even at this altitude (about 800 m) you can sink into snow up to your knees, mostly it goes over the boots.
Very nice path.

Yesterday we also took a little walk around Dobrovlje, namely from Lipa to sv. Jošt. There's just enough snow that we can say we walked in the snow. There's no steep climb either, so don't worry if you want to see part of the European hiking trail. Suitable for anyone who has just a bit of will for the mountain world.
The path goes through the forest all the way.1
