Hey šodrovc, if you started a public polemic about me being afraid to say something publicly, you're wrong, but in this case it seemed better to first send a PM so as not to offend anyone else.
Interesting, believe me, I predicted you'd do something like this, have fun, no problem,...
Question: do you understand if someone sends a private message to someone and then that person publishes it publicly... hey you probably don't even understand the meaning of the word.
What if some female forum visitor whispers something private to you, would you publish that publicly too????
Really primitive, you didn't hurt me, but showed your truly ridiculous character.

And of course the famous dr.GG is fun too
That he knows our mountains very well, probably no one can deny.
Especially Gorazd is so honest that he's registered with his real name and besides his other mountaineering work, where he delights us on GL every week with super posts and reports in PV (read some), he also loves to entertain with riddles. The rest of us (with rare exceptions) mostly hide.  In that, jprim, there's really no great courage. But I agree that it's not nice to publish private messages publicly.

Why did I publish the PM publicly?
1. because jprim said she is open;
2. because there's nothing personal in her writing;
3. because I wanted to hear your reaction too, if there's really anything controversial in that dr..
jprim, I tried to be friendly and explain it all, but obviously I failed. Sorry if I hurt anyone in any way with anything.

I'm šodrovEc with E. Here's a separate opinion that I announced when I won't agree with my almost namesake (šodrovc without E) on something important. I didn't think I'd bother so soon. So, my humble opinion: private messages are private by definition themselves. They are, until the recipient gets release from the author. No exceptions or excuses.
But anyway, since I'm generously sharing opinions... I would easily forgive someone who apologizes so sincerely for a possible mistake. Even more, I'd forget it and rather return to the riddles that nicely livened up the forum. And not only that, lately you can easily get a doctorate here. Almost easier than at the University of Primorska.

Regarding publishing PMs, which has happened before when someone publicly criticized a PZS official, this from šodrovc was completely innocent and harmless.
But it's still not good practice, better to block them otherwise.
