That Mramor is really an annoying pest
Janez, nice description and nice pics. Under 25, you need to correct the label: Bavški Grintavec, Srebrnjak and Trentski Pelc. You would spot Pelc if you stood a bit higher and looked a bit more to the right.
I also didn't miss the curiosity on pic 27, where a mustached man appears in profile. Nose, eye and forehead like from Picasso...

Yesterday 7.1.2017, my wife and I made the ascent to Golica via so far little known path. Three days ago we tried from road workers' hut to reach Golica and at third landslide (very dangerous) turned back, it didn't give me peace, and I went searching new directions. Upon review of various maps got this direction and we went. Starting point at Kugy monument, 20m before monument turn left to well trodden trail to bridge over Mlinarica, at end of bridge immediately left to Hunters' hut. When we spot Hunters' hut again left to visible pathlet, on which we placed cairn, somewhere at 1050m, leave nice pathlet which leads somewhere ahead, again left and from here carefully path quite visible occasionally disappears. Brings us to crag where joins path from road workers' hut, thus avoid landslides on mentioned path. Just need to be very careful on path due to descent. Look back several times and remember part of path where joins path from road workers' hut. From here on already described path to Golica.

The trail is clearly followable all the way and in today's conditions also nicely passable. In places the brushwood is freshly cut - thanks. That arrow and couple of spray packs aren't so annoying due to the color (fluorescent green), but I agree they are completely unnecessary

Today from the hut across the stream to the summit. The trail is quite cairned, specifically from Mlinarica all the way to the top... doesn't hurt. No special fights with brushwood anymore, as it's newly cut.
Views of course wonderful, as befits such a peak.

Yesterday to Goličica to check if I can still find the path I first hiked five years ago. I'd be quite puzzled if not, since a woman about 80 years old I estimated was also climbing towards the top, first time on this path and alone. Someone always surprises you.
The tricky traverses still remain, I think there are even more, the most critical is the first one, not because of me, but because of my sister who was behind me (it twisted, now the younger bears responsibility for the older)
The cairns guide you nicely, only the first one directing to Mlinarica is down, so we stepped too far from the road hut and had to return (like five years ago)
Views from the top yesterday divine, just as you imagine them, so vast and penetrating. The eye was carried far, and it had something to see.
A summit you practically don't need to share with anyone, at least yesterday it was like that for almost an hour. Then a group of four and that 80-year-old. On the path we met no one.
At the end had to wade a bit through quite cold water of Mlinarica, not because I fell off the bridge, but simply had to use the opportunity.
Then to Aljaž for beer (you don't get that at Mlinarica), where yesterday all familiar faces, as if arranged. We were like one big family.
