Yesterday 28 members of PD Rečica ob Savinji from Koelbrein reservoir - Kattovitzer Hutte - Grosser Hafner. Foggy morning that turned sunny before Kattovitzer Hutte. Avoid parking fee at Fallerhutte if you're there before 7am velik nasmeh

This scenic beauty is technically really not demanding, if there's enough fitness for over 1500m ascent and start at the sign behind the tunnel, you can even make it in shorter time than stated mežikanje

The path from there is in my opinion more pleasant than the one starting at the dam.

On Monday to Hafner summit via path from the dam. Path to Kattowitzer Hütte is very muddy, no other issues on the whole path. Some new snow lingered to the summit path, but now it's melted. nasmeh

... Three-thousander, mountain with beautiful views, even more rugged is the long ridge. Rock slabs scattered as if fallen from the sky. Also cat cemetery just before summit interesting, my little one stands there too. Nice unique experience. nasmeh

No, I didn't. I didn't know it was a custom. I'll go again in summer when the weather is nice, run up there for training.

True, it's the so-called "cat cemetery" I don't even know where the name comes from, but anyway, most of them raise their own monument here...... velik nasmeh
