And also; all buildings in your pics are built from Istrian stone, which is sandstone and very easy to process. On the 19th pic it's from limestone, which is karst stone-white in color, only the window frames.

I happily read the posts myself, even though I'm not retired yet, but hope I will be someday.

We're already in March, when the real hiking season starts. On Monday we'll go to the sea a bit. Ponedeljkovci - pensioners' group of PD Škofja Loka will hike Ljubavna trail - Crikvenica. Ponedeljkovci have trips every three weeks. Četrkovci every two weeks. Already on 13.02. we're going to Rjavca from Bodental. 27.03. to Blegoš. On 11 March I have planned a trip with DU Medvode: Šmihel (Vipava valley) - Skozno (671m) - Vitanje. Tomorrow I'm going with colleague Jani my assistant to check it out. Last year I already hiked it with Četrkovci. In Vitanje there's the famous nursery Klančič-Golob and it's worth visiting. If there's interest we'll go see it. Probably need to book the group in advance.

Last Tuesday Ponedeljkovci - pensioners' group PD Škofja Loka roamed around Sorška planina. Unfortunately I had to leave Četrkovci due to illness. My sea vacation also fell through. With Ponedeljkovci we divide into two groups somehow - Fast ones and Snails, so there's something for everyone. This time we strolled around Sorška planina. First we visited the village Nemški rovt and looked at the local church. Of course need to book for viewing. It's dedicated to St. Ahac. Then we went through forest paths to visit Polancov rovt at Strmah. They have it nice. We picked dandelion, wild thyme, experts picked more. Warm snack was ordered at the recently opened restaurant on Sorška planina. Really nice - highly recommend. They had huge crowd.
